We are huge advocates for designing and producing sustainable products for our customers. We hope sustainability becomes the “STANDARD” in the near future with all taking more care of our “ENVIRONMENT” by managing how and what their products are made from.
To produce sustainable products we need to take into account many aspects of the supply chain, from fabric, components, trim, waste, power, labour,… Unfortunately, producing any product, regardless of these factors, is not 100% sustainable as producing any garment will take resources from the planet in some way, shape or form.
However, we are doing many things in the process of development, to ensure that the products are as sustainable as possible and making a minimal impact, especially Selecting materials is the first priority, we work with many activewear fabric mills, yarn mills in Vietnam that all now have sustainable or recycled fabric options. By selecting the right fibres and sourcing fabrics that are local to the factory, we are able to reduce the carbon footprint.
We really love this definition about sustainability:
“Sustainability is the balance between the environment, equity, and economy”
There are now many options available, from recycling plastic ocean waste to producing fabrics using natural plant-based fibres like organic cotton or bamboo, these use a reduced amount of planet resources to grow, and therefore cause no impact to the environment when worn, washed and disposed of.
Our credo is “Let’s start with small thing first”
The Fibers we would like to offer to customers: Organic Cotton, Recycled Polyester, Recycled Cotton, Coffee Yarn, Merino wool.
